NLRPD investigating early morning shooting death

NORTH LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Police are investigation the death of a 19-year-old man after an early morning shooting.

Shortly before 1:00 on Wednesday morning, North Little Rock police officers received a call that someone had been shot. When police arrived on the scene at 605 West Scenic, they found the victim in the parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Elijah D. Walker of North Little Rock. His body has been sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy.

Police are investigating, but there is no suspect information at this time.
