State Rep. Charlie Collins confirms he's dropping out of race for Lt. Governor

LITTLE ROCK - Republican State Representative Charlie Collins has confirmed he's dropping out of the race for Arkansas Lt. Governor.{}

Collins, who represents District 84 says he will get out of the race to focus on re-election.

Collins decision comes on the day Republican Congressman Tim Griffin made his entry into the race official.{} Collins tells KATV Griffin will make a "marvelous" Lt. Governor, but Griffin still has to win the primary against Representatives Debra Hobbs and Andy Mayberry.{}

Democrat John Burkhalter is also seeking the office.{}{}
