UPDATE: Police search home after receiving tip about 1994 cold case
Jefferson County authorities searched the house and property of a Pine Bluff man today in connection to a cold case from 1994.
Officers served a search warrant this morning at the home of Dr. Larry Amos. They say this is related to the disappearance of Cleashindra Hall.
Our crew tells us that cadaver dogs were at the home of Dr. Amos. There was also radar equipment being used to search the concrete of the property.
At one point the Pine Bluff Police Chief and the Jefferson County District Attorney walked into the home with Amos. They later removed a few brown paper bags from the home, but police won't say what's inside.
Investigators say that the received a tip recently that led to them securing a search warrant.
Cleashindra's mother has been at the scene all day and told us that she doesn't have a lot information, but she considers this a positive step towards closure for her daughter. Tomorrow would have been Cleahsindra's 36th birthday.
Cleashindra Hall was 18-years-old when she disappeared on May 9, 1994. The last time she was seen was around 8:30 p.m. as she left her after school job at the home office of Dr. Larry Amos.
Cleashindra usually called her parents after work to pick her up, that night she didn't. Dr. Amos told police that she got into the car with someone else when she left his office that night.
The next day Cleashindra's parents reported her missing.
