There are more than 100,000 Americans awaiting a life-saving organ transplant and unfortunately, the need disproportionately impacts people of color.

Nearly 60% of those waiting for an organ donation are from multicultural communities.

Myc Scott and Essau Corona from ARORA join Good Afternoon Arkansas to discuss National Multicultural Donor Awareness Month and the need for more organ donors.

People who are looking to register as donor can visit www.donatelifearkansas.org.

ARORA also has donor registration kiosks around the state to make registration even faster. To learn more, log onto ARORA’s website at www.arora.org/kiosk or you can contact ARORA at 501-907-9150.
