P. Allen Smith previews the Arkansas Cornbread Festival
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) —
The Arkansas Cornbread Festival is Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m on S. Main Street in SoMa. It's a free event for all ages, however a Cornbread Tasting Ticket is $8 before the festival and $10 at the festival. This allows you to taste all the cornbread within the competition.
Also happening at the festival is live music from Bonnie Montgomery, Brick Fields, Charles Woods and the Element, John Burnette, and Ten Penny Gypsy.
There is lots of shopping from SoMa businesses and local vendors, plus, a Cosmo's Kids Corner with entertaining activities.
Proceeds from the festival are for community improvement projects.
