Little Rock Zoo announces new summer events

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Little Rock Zoo is kicking off summer with a variety of activities.

Each Thursday in June, the zoo is open from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. for Tails and Tunes at the Zoo. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, specialty food vendors, and fun activities.

Once a month, the zoo is highlighting an iconic animal with an event called Breakfast with a Twist.

Featured Animals:

June 12 – Flamingos

July 10 – Tigers

August 14 – Gorillas

September 11- Penguins
