Many new moms experience what are coined the "baby blues," but sometimes it's much more than that.

Experts say 1 in 5 new mothers experience postpartum depression or anxiety.

Postpartum depression is a severe form of clinical depression after pregnancy and childbirth. It can range from mild to severe, and can sometimes manifest as postpartum psychosis. New moms can also experience postpartum anxiety.
