Home-Style Green Onion Tofu

2, 14 oz boxes of fresh tofu ( firm tofu) 4 tbsp. finely chopped green onion 1 tbsp. finely slice shallot (for garnish) 3/4 tbsp. salt to taste 1 tsp. sesame oil
1. Rinse the tofu. Drain off any excess liquid. 2. Using hand, roughly mash the tofu. 3. Add minced green onions, salt and sesame oil to mashed tofu. Mix well. 4. Garnish with sliced shallots. 5. This dish is served traditionally as a side, but it can be served as an appetizer/finger food on top of toasted bread. Serve and enjoy!
