Salisbury steak

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup bread crumbs

2 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 egg

salt and pepper

Mix above ingredients together and form into 4 patties. Saute in 1 tablespoon olive oil till done throughout. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

In same skillet add:

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

1 cup onions, diced

1/2 cup bell pepper

2 cups beef broth

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons mustard

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon water

1. Sauté the mushrooms, onions and bell pepper in olive oil till tender.

2. Add the beef broth, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and cook till hot.

3. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add to the sauce, return the beef patties to the pan and heat till thick and hot.
