Two shootings left two men injured late Saturday in Little Rock, police reported.

Department spokesman Lt. Michael Ford said the first shooting occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m., when a man exchanged gunfire with two other men in the 2600 block of Booker Street. One of the men was struck in his left arm. Ford said the man drove to the Pulaski County jail at 3201 W. Roosevelt Road, just south of the shooting, for help. The man was then taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment.

Officers were called to a second shooting shortly before midnight in the 2800 block of East Roosevelt Road, about four miles east of the first shooting. Ford said a man had been walking in the area when two men drove by and opened fire. The man was reportedly struck in his arm.

Neither man faces life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Ford said Sunday morning that it was unclear whether the shootings are connected.

Police are investigating.
