A second person has been arrested after a missing man was found shot to death outside a Conway apartment complex Tuesday, police reported.

Kevin Lamont West, 20, of Little Rock, was arrested late Wednesday on a charge of first-degree murder. Brayland Johnson, 23, was arrested earlier Wednesday on the same charge.

The two are accused of killing Randy Daniels, 56. Police said Daniels, who had been reported missing, was found fatally shot inside a car at Salem Park Apartments on Monday. Johnson is suspected of shooting Daniels inside the car sometime on Friday and driving it to the apartment complex at 2840 Dave Ward Drive.

Police said Johnson and Daniels were co-workers.

After Johnson was arrested, the department said detectives did not believe anyone else was involved in the killing. West was arrested after further investigation, department spokeswoman LaTresha Woodruff said.

Johnson and West were being held in the Faulkner County jail.
