48-year-old arrested in deadly Pine Bluff shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — A 48-year-old was arrested Thursday in a shooting that left one person dead in Pine Bluff, police reported.

Vincent Peal was charged with first-degree murder.

The shooting happened around 9:08 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of South Hazel, according to police. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Kevin Brazell, 43, with a gunshot wound laying in the parking lot. Brazell was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said Peal was arrested at the scene. He was being held in the Jefferson County jail.

This is the 12th homicide of the year for Pine Bluff.
