LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — There were 505 active cases of COVID-19 among Arkansas poultry workers as of Tuesday morning, the Arkansas Department of Health announced.
At least 315 of those cases are in Northwest Arkansas. The number is up from the 93 cases reported Tuesday, according to KATV content partner 40/29 News.
Active cases have been confirmed at more than a dozen poultry places across the state, including George's, Pilgrim's Pride, Cargill, Butterball, Tyson, and Simmons facilities.
As of Friday morning, at least five positive active cases in poultry workers were reported as living in Benton, Washington, Madison, Polk, Sebastian, Carroll, and Crawford Counties.
