ArDOT begins preparations for below freezing temperatures
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) —
Arkansas' Department of Transportation is filling up its trucks and hitting the roads to prepare for the potential freezing temperature heading to the Natural State.
ArDOT vehicles are pre-treating overpasses and bridges with salt brine in central, southwest and south central Arkansas, according to Danny Straessle, public information officer for the department.
Trucks will be also on stand-by, should the forecast show conditions that require further treatment.
