Arkansas State Rep. Milton Nicks Jr. tests positive for COVID-19

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Arkansas State Representative Milton Nicks Jr. has tested positive for COVID-19. An Arkansas House spokesperson said that Nicks was not at the state Capitol on Wednesday, but was earlier this week. Contact tracing has begun, according to the spokesperson.

Nicks is serving his fourth term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 50 which includes portions of Crittenden and Cross County.

At least 10 Arkansas lawmaker tested positive for the coronavirus due to the second-largest outbreak of the virus in a state legislature in 2020.
