An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of a mother and her two young children in Little Rock last month.

On Dec. 5, 24-year-old Mariah Cunningham and her two children, 5-year-old Alayah Fisher and 3-year-old Elijah Fisher, were found dead at their Rosewood Apartment home.

According to an arrest report, 21-year-old William Alexander was identified as a suspect in the victims' deaths. The report says Alexander was arrested about 2:10 p.m. Monday. He was booked in the Pulaski County jail on three counts of capital murder at 6:15 p.m.

Alexander pleaded not guilty in the case Tuesday morning in Little Rock District Court. Judge Hugh Finkelstein ordered him to be held without bond. Finkelstein ordered an affidavit filed in the case to be sealed.

Alexander is a Chicago native, according to the arrest report. Little Rock police said last week that detectives had traveled to the city to interview a person of interest in the killings. The department had not released further details on the case Tuesday afternoon. Police spokesman officer Steve Moore said on the department's Facebook page that the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.

The City of Little Rock offered a $50,000 reward in the case last month.

Alexander resides at 7001 Fairfield Drive in Little Rock, the arrest report says. Court records show he's been convicted of felony forgery charges on two occasions since 2016. He was sentenced to probation in both cases and ordered to submit DNA samples.

Alexander was convicted of a misdemeanor count of carrying a weapon last year. His listed address was 5501 Summertree Drive in North Little Rock in that case, according to court records.
