Authorities are searching for two Arkansas men in connection with an animal cruelty case that happened in Louisiana.

Boots Stanley and Steven Sadler are reportedly being sought after a video surfaced showing the alleged abuse of a dog.

The video shows the man with a dog, and the dog has a collar with a rope around its neck. In the video, the dog is later seen on the back of a horse, and it later has its throat cut.

The two men are said to live in Arkansas, but the video shows an incident that happened in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana.

Law enforcement agencies in both Arkansas and Louisiana are searching for Stanley and Sadler.

They could face charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, which is a class D felony.

The Ashley County Sheriff's Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

We are aware of the video of the dog. Please hold your calls on this video to the Sheriff's Office we are having to deal with other calls as well. The incident actually happened in Morehouse Parish as we are assisting them with this and is being investigated.

We reached out to the Bastroup Police Department, Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office, the Ashley County Sheriff's Office, and the Hamburg Police Department and are waiting to hear back.

Channel 7 also tried to make contact with Sadler's family.
