Autistic teen reported missing in central Arkansas

Update: Maumelle police reported about 9:30 p.m. that the boy had been found.

An autistic teenage boy was reported missing Thursday in central Arkansas, authorities said.

Maumelle police were searching for Joshua Hamilton, 16. The department said in a news release that Hamilton was seen about 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Maumelle High School. He was reportedly wearing gray pants, a lime green T-shirt and gray tennis shoes.

Police said Hamilton has autism, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. He's described as standing about 5 feet tall and weighing roughly 100 pounds.
