Names released of 3 teens charged in murder of Sylvan Hills High School student

UPDATE (4/23 2:30 p.m.)

Pulaski County Prosecuting AttorneyLarry Jegley confirms to KATV the names of the three juveniles arrested in connection to the murder of Sylvan Hills high school student Bryan Allen Thompson.

Travone Miller,14, Quincy Parker, 15, and Xavier Porter ,17, have been charged as adults and are in the Pulaski County Jail.

UPDATE (4/22 8 p.m.):

Police have arrested three juveniles in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Bryan Allen Thompson, who was found dead in a vehicle parked at the Bill Harmon Recreation Center Thursday afternoon.

The three juveniles; ages 14, 15, and 17, have been charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery.

Their names are not being released at this time.

UPDATE (4/22 3:31 a.m.):

The Pulaski County Special School District has identified the body found in a vehicle parked at the Bill Harmon Recreation Center Thursday afternoon as 17-year-old Bryan Thompson.

Thompson was a student at Sylvan Hills High School.

The district said because of the nature of the crime, extra security guards will be at the school Friday even though it did not happen on school property.

Grief counselors will also be available for students today at Sylvan Hills.

ORIGINAL STORY (4/21):

The Sherwood Police Department is investigating the death of a man found dead in a vehicle parked at the Bill Harmon Recreation Center Thursday afternoon as a homicide.

Police were called at 2:30 p.m. about an unresponsive man in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Bill Harmon Recreation Center on Shelby Road in Sherwood.

Responding officers found that the man inside the vehicle was dead, and police say his death is being investigated as a homicide.

The victim's name is not being released at this time, as next of kin have not yet been notified.
