Gunfire that went through a Little Rock home struck a woman as she was holding her infant Wednesday night, according to a police report.

The shooting occurred near the 800 block of Allis Street, where Little Rock police found 27-year-old Camille Oliver suffering from a gunshot wound while in the hallway with her two children.

Oliver told police she was sitting in front of her computer and holding her baby when she heard several shots outside her home. She then found she was hit in the left thigh. Oliver was taken to UAMS for her injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Officers found a bullet hole on the back of Oliver's computer desk and also spoke with a 77-year-old neighbor who said her home was struck by gunfire. Police found several shell casings in the alleyway on Maryland Avenue, near Allis Street.

No suspect information was given, but authorities said charges in the case could include first-degree battery and terroristic act.
