Cabot man arrested for internet stalking of a child
PULASKI COUNTY (KATV) —
Authorities say a Cabot man has been taken into custody and accused of arranging to meet with someone he believed to be an underage female for the purpose of sex.
Investigators from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office say Michael S. Kelley,35, contacted the underage female, who was a Sheriff's Office Investigator, through social media in an attempt to solicit sex from the underage girl.
Kelley then drove to a private residence in Jacksonville where he was arrested by investigators.
Officials say when Kelley arrived at the meeting site, his four-year-old daughter was in the front seat of the vehicle.
Kelley is currently being held, without bond, in the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility on multiple charges including internet stalking of child, endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
