UPDATED STORY (7/9/28 10:00 P.M.): We blurred the faces of the children, because they're minors, but Bryant Police believes this accurately depicts two young children being aggressively handled by a daycare employee.

"This next part, I'm not going to lie is tough to watch," Sergeant Todd Crowson, the public information officer with the Bryant Police Department said.

These kids are only about two years old.

"She just looked real angry in the video and I’m not really sure why," Crowson said.

The woman in this video, according to police, is 19-year-old McKenzie Howell.

Howell is being charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, in part, after Bryant Police examined the contents of this surveillance video from Kid’s Academy Daycare in Bryant.

In it, you can see a few different incidences where Howell appears to be rather aggressive when handling these toddlers.

Sgt. Crowson explains one instance here with a little boy as they're getting ready for lunch.

"Now watch as she pulls him up,” Sgt. Crowson said while playing the recording, “right there she's clearly still upset with him and then walks over to the chair and just throws him down."

In another instance, that little girl you first saw, is sitting against the wall, and Howell grabs her by the shoulders and pushes her back against the wall.

You can visibly see the young girl grab her shoulder and crying immediately after.

"Kids can be tough to deal with sometimes but you just have to have the right temperament for that job and some people, that type of job is not for them," Sgt. Crowson said. "If you're a worker that works around kids and you feel like you're having a bad day, maybe you should take a day off."

Howell has since been let go from Kid's Academy.

One family we spoke with, didn't want to go on camera, but said they pulled their child out of the daycare Monday, after seeing the contents of this video,

Howell turned herself in to police Monday morning.

Her bond was set at five thousand dollars.

PREVIOUS STORY: A 19-year-old woman turned herself over to authorities Monday morning after reports of possible child abuse at a Bryant day care.

Bryant police arrested McKenzie Howell on two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor.

The investigation began when authorities received a report of possible child abuse at Kids Academy Day care. After reviewing security cameras and speaking with witnesses, police obtained a warrant for Howell's arrest.

Authorities say she is being held at the Saline County Detention Facility.

She is scheduled to have a bond hearing 10 a.m. Monday.
