Dispute at Wendy's leads to gunfire in Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
A dispute at a Wendy's restaurant in Little Rock led to gunfire Thursday, police reported.
A woman traveling in a 2018 Dodge Journey called police about 7:30 p.m. and said she was being followed and shot at by people in a white Chevrolet Malibu and a black Toyota Corolla, according to a police report. She said they'd been in an altercation at a Wendy's on South University Avenue and the dispute had escalated after someone hit her vehicle with an object. Police recovered a two-by-four outside the restaurant.
Officers found the caller at West 7th and South Chester streets, according to the report. Her vehicle appeared to have been hit by two gunshots.
Police found the black Toyota Corolla and interviewed two women, Keanna Hart, 20, and Kerrie Hart, 21. The two were arrested on unrelated warrants.
Police said other charges were pending.
