LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A car accident in Black Oak, Arkansas has left one dead and two injured, according to our content partner, Region 8 News.
Arkansas State Police said that the crash occurred on State Highway 135 and State Highway 18 at 8:18 a.m. on Friday.
55-year-old Tammy Marie Flemming of Wilson, Arkansas was driving her 2018 Nissan Rogue and turned left onto Highway 135 and failed to yield to traffic, police said.
This led to a collision with a 2016 GMC Sierra, driven by 25-year-old Devon Payne and heading eastbound on Highway 18. The Sierra struck the Flemming's driver-side door, killing Flemming.
Payne and a passenger in his vehicle were taken to NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital for their injuries.
Flemming’s body will be held at Emerson Funeral Home, Region 8 News reported.
