For 11 years, Arkansas Stop the Violence organization has been bringing joy to kids during the holidays.

Each December, they collect bikes for children in need.

This year, the organization is getting a little extra help from the Association of Black Professional Firefighters.

"I'm glad that we're in a position to be able to give back to the community, especially during the holidays. I really think the kids are going to enjoy these bikes and just glad that we're able to do it for them"

The Firefighters donated 45 bikes on Wednesday.

Reverend Benny Johnson, who started the drive over a decade ago, says donations give kids something to look forward to every holiday season.

"I'm just thankful for the black firefighters here in Arkansas for bringing joy to the kids face for Christmas who otherwise wouldn't get anything for Christmas."

Arkansas Stop the Violence hopes to collect 400 bikes this year.

The bike drive continues until December 21.
