Head-on collision leaves 1 dead in central Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
One person was killed in a head-on collision Saturday afternoon in central Arkansas, state police reported.
Joe Lawrence, 54, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado south on Arkansas 107 in Vilonia. The vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic about 2:57 p.m. and collided with a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, according to state police.
Lawrence, of Cabot, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
State police said conditions were cloudy and wet when the crash occurred.
