Highway 139 closure in Caraway for bridge replacement project: Eight week detour plan announced

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Arkansas Department of Transportation announced a full closure of Highway 139 north of Caraway will begin on Wednesday.

According to ARDOT, the closure will continue for eight weeks, and both of the lanes will be closed as crews replace the bridge on the highway.

ARDOT said there will be a detour route will use Highway 135, 148, and 158.

Drivers should be cautious when traveling through the area.
