Hilaro Springs bridge repair to cause 5 day road closure in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The city of Little Rock Public Works Department is giving a few day's notice before construction crews start bridge repair.

The closure will last five days and start on Monday, June 12.

Crews will be drilling geotechnical boring adjacent to the Hilaro Springs Road bridge that is between Baseline Road and Vinson Road.

The city of Little Rock Public Works Department said Hilaro Springs Road will be closed through traffic between Baseline Road and Vinson Road, and local traffic will be allowed up to the bridge area.

Detour routes:

• Motorists traveling south on Hilaro Springs Road will be diverted east at Baseline Road and turning south on Arch Street, and turning west on Vinson Road to Hilaro Springs Road.
• Motorists traveling north on Hilaro Springs Road will be diverted east at Vinson Road and turning north on Arch Street, to Baseline Road.
