Pedestrian killed after hit by 2 vehicles in Little Rock

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by multiple vehicles Thursday night in Little Rock, police reported.

Officers were called at 9:25 p.m. to 3600 W. Roosevelt Road, just east of Asher Avenue.

Police spokesman officer Steve Moore said they a found a black male who had been fatally struck by a vehicle. Moore said the man, who was in his 60's, had used a wheelchair.

Police say it appeared the man may have been struck twice.

The vehicle occupants did stay behind after the accident took place, according to Moore.

The man's identity has not been released.

An investigation is ongoing.
