Idaho man killed in head-on collision in Arkansas
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
An Idaho man died in a head-on collision in Arkansas early Tuesday, state police reported.
Stuart Townes, 63, of Boise, was driving a 2005 Kia east on U.S. 278 in Camden when someone driving a 2010 Ford F-150 in the opposite direction crossed the center line and struck his vehicle head-on.
Townes was killed. A passenger in his vehicle, Marie Townes, 59, of Boise, was injured. She was taken to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock for treatment.
The Ford driver was not identified in a state police report on the crash.
State police said conditions were clear and dry when the crash occurred.
