Little Rock couple arrested on gun, drug charges after shot fired during dispute
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
The Pulaski County sheriff's office arrested a Little Rock couple on drug and gun charges Saturday after responding to a disturbance at their home.
Deputies were called about 9:20 p.m. to 4109 E. 35th St., a home just south of Interstate 440 near Bankhead Drive.
Terri Boatner, 46, said her boyfriend, Frankie Sweet, had fired a gun at the floor, according to an arrest report. Boatner reportedly gave deputies permission to search the residence.
The sheriff's office said it found a .22-caliber rifle equipped with a silencer, 1.6 ounces of marijuana, 0.9 grams of methamphetamine and prescription pills. Deputies also found three syringes and digital scales, according to the report.
Sweet, 49, was charged with possession of a firearm by certain persons, possession of marijuana and third-degree assault on a family or household member.
Boatner was charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms; possession of a firearm by certain persons; maintaining a drug premises and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
They were both being held in the Pulaski County jail Sunday.
