Little Rock police are investigating after a man robbed a doughnut shop at gunpoint Sunday morning.

Officers were called shortly after 6 a.m. to Daylight Donuts at 7610 Geyer Springs Road, just north of Interstate 30. An employee, Nga Srun, 35, said that a man wearing a black hoodie had entered the business and asked for orange juice, according to a police report. Srun said that when she opened the cash register, the man pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The robber took about $75 and fled north from the business, according to the report.

No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as black, 5-feet-6 and 120 pounds.

Srun reportedly told investigators that she thinks the robber is the same person who robbed a Shipley Do-Nuts at 2900 S. University Avenue last week. That business was robbed the morning of Dec. 3, according to police.

No arrests had been made in either holdup late Monday.
