Little Rock police on Wednesday said the father of slain toddler Acen King is wanted in an unrelated killing five years ago.

The department said in tweet that Antwoin King, 34, faces a charge of capital murder.

Police said King is suspected of killing Joseph McCardell, 38, in January 2013. McCardell's teenage daughter found him shot to death at their home on West 18th Street.

According to the department, King said he would surrender to authorities Wednesday but didn't.

King is described as black, 5-feet-10 and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last known to reside at his grandmother's home on Tatum Street in Little Rock.

Police said King is considered armed and dangerous.

The fatal shooting of his 3-year-old son Acen in December 2016 made international headlines. Police said Acen was riding in the backseat of his grandmother's car when a man fired one shot into the vehicle in an act of "road rage." Gary Eugene Holmes, 34, was charged with murder in the case.
