A Little Rock man said he was robbed at gunpoint Monday after he met a man to buy car stereo equipment, police reported.

Tyler Palmer, 35, of Benton, said a man approached him at a gas station at 700 E. Roosevelt Road in Little Rock on May 28 and spoke to him about the stereo equipment, according to a police report. Palmer told the man he did not have money to buy the equipment but would contact the man when he did.

About 2:15 p.m. Monday, Palmer met the man at 2650 E. Roosevelt Road, according to the report. When Palmer told the man he had the money, the man reportedly pulled a gun and stole $340 from him. The robber was last seen fleeing in a gold-colored vehicle, possibly a Ford sedan, east toward Interstate 440.

No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as 5-feet-9 and 170 pounds with short braided hair and a tattoo on his right arm. He wore a white shirt and dark-colored pants.
