Motorcyclist killed in Little Rock wreck over Labor Day weekend

A Lonoke man was killed in a Pulaski County motorcycle accident over the holiday weekend.

According to a State Police preliminary crash report, James Putt, 36, was driving his 2007 Honda motorcycle on Frontage Rd. on Monday when the vehicle hit the curb at a high rate of speed, went over the sidewalk and hit a dirt mound.

After striking the mound, authorities say Putt was ejected from the motorcycle and hit a street sign.

No other injuries were reported.

The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the wreck.
