A new airline will soon be providing nonstop flights from Little Rock to Austin, Texas, beginning April 29.

Via Airlines has announced they will provide service from the Clinton National Airport to Austin on a 50-seat plane.

The chairwoman of the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission, Stacy Hurst, said,

We’re excited that Via Airlines will provide nonstop service to Austin, which will be a new destination for Little Rock. Via Airlines’s low fares and convenient schedule will make it easy to getaway to the live music capital. The Airport Commission is continually pursing new airline service and fostering competition for lower fares. We’re delighted to have such a strong and diverse offering of airline choices for our passengers.

Flights to Austin will be offered six days a week, excluding Saturdays.

The nonstop flight to Austin will mark the third new city planned for Little Rock in 2018.

Frontier will be offering nonstop flights to Denver beginning March 1.

American/ Envoy will also be starting to service to Washington D.C. on April 3.
