NORTH LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — UPDATE (2/9):
The North Little Rock Police Department has released the name of the officer involved in Tuesday night's shooting.
Police say Officer Chris Brown fired four times at the suspect after he engaged police with a shotgun.
Officer Brown has been placed on administrative leave. Brown started working for the NLRPD in 2010.

UPDATE 2/8 (11:00 p.m.):
North Little Rock Detectives have arrested 59-year-old Irvin Russell Fuller, of Conway, for his involvement in the officer-involved shooting Tuesday night.
Fuller is facing 6 counts of aggravated and assault and 1 count of a terroristic act for firing multiple shots in an apartment on Palm street that was occupied by 2 children and 2 adults.
When officers responded to the call for shots fired, Fuller was then shot by a North Little Rock Police officer.
Fuller is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center and will making his first appearance in North Little Rock district court Thursday morning.

ORIGINAL STORY (3:20 a.m.):
North Little Rock police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Sergeant Brian Dedrick tells Channel 7 officers responded to shots fired at an apartment complex on North Palm Street.
While on their way, officers received a second call advising that someone was shooting at apartment 12.
When officers arrived they reportedly confronted a man holding a shotgun.
Police say the suspect started to engage the officers with a shotgun, at which time one of the officers fired four times at the suspect, striking him in the neck and face area.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say no one was injured inside the apartment; however, there were damages to the window inside the apartment from the shots fired by the suspect.
The incident is being investigated and the officers involved will be placed on administrative leave.
