Northwest Arkansas woman charged with murder in grandmother's death

Authorities said Monday that a northwest Arkansas woman had been arrested on accusations that she killed her grandmother last week.

Andrea Lea Wilson, 26, was charged with capital murder.

The Benton County sheriff's office said in a news release that Wilson's grandmother, Ruby Ross, 80, was found dead Wednesday at her home at 11001 Blue Jay Road in Pea Ridge.

The sheriff's office did not release further details on the case.

Wilson was being held in the Benton County jail Monday.
