Person found dead in Fayetteville, police investigating

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark — Fayetteville Police said they are investigating after a person was found dead near the trail at 1700 S. Razorback Road.

Sgt. Murphy tells our sister station 40/29 News a man's body was found at the scene and was badly burned.

Police received a call at 1:08 a.m. Saturday morning.

The body is being sent to the state crime lab for autopsy.

Right now the cause of death is unknown.
