Pilot killed in Arkansas helicopter crash identified

The man killed in a helicopter crash in Clay County on Friday has been identified, according to content partner KAIT.

The Clay County sheriff said Erik John Raisanen of Virginia was flying the helicopter, which belonged to Air2 and was contracted by Entergy Arkansas, when the crash occurred near Hwy. 62, the news outlet reported.

Arkansas State Police, the local fire department, EMTs and the Clay County Office of Emergency Services assisted at the crash site.
