An investigation is underway after a juvenile told Little Rock police he was robbed of his vehicle, later found wrecked, and personal belongings by two suspects who held him at gunpoint.

Officers were called Monday morning to the 11000 block of Legion Hut Rd. for a robbery of an individual.

According to a police report, that's where authorities made contact with a 16-year-old victim who said he was driving in the area of Knollwood Dr. and Valley Dr. at approximately 4 a.m. when two male suspects stopped him on the road.

The suspects, described as a Hispanic male and a black male, allegedly came up to the victim's window with a handgun. The victim told police the Hispanic male then pointed the gun at his head and made him get out of the vehicle. According to the report, the suspects took off with the victim's clothes, phone, and vehicle. The victim said he walked to the location where police were called.

Officers searched and found the vehicle wrecked and abandoned on Chicot Rd. near the intersection with Hillsboro Rd.

Authorities took the juvenile home where they say a small disturbance occurred after the victim's father learned he took the car without permission, but it was soon resolved.

Anyone with information in the robbery is advised to call the Little Rock Police Department.
