Police: Armed suspects threaten clerk, rob Little Rock gas station
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Authorities are investigating after two armed suspects entered a Little Rock gas station and made off with an unknown amount of money.
Police say they responded to the Superstop located in the 9700 block of N Rodney Parham Rd. around 10:35 p.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived on scene, they spoke with the gas station clerk.
The clerk, who spoke very little English, said they had been robbed by two black males.
A second victim said when she entered the business she saw both suspects with their backs to her but she didn't see a vehicle. Shortly after she walked in, the suspects followed her with their faces covered, pointed a gun at her, and demanded all her money.
The victim said she was unable to give a description of the suspects, however, the one holding the gun was not wearing gloves.
According to the report, the suspects then threatened the clerk who took them to the back of the store.
The clerk said soon after, the suspects got into a white SUV that came from behind the business and headed westbound on North Rodney Parham.
Police believe the second suspect was wearing gloves at the time of the incident.
Two businesses near the Superstore had cameras, however, they were closed at the time of the altercation.
