Police investigate after Little Rock gas station hit by gunfire
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Police were investigating after a Little Rock gas station was hit by gunfire Wednesday.
Officers were called at 7:14 p.m. to an Exxon at 5223 S. University Avenue. An employee said he'd heard gunshots and then heard glass breaking at the store, according to a police report. A witness reportedly told police she saw a man run inside the store, then she heard three or four shots and saw the man run back outside.
Police spoke to a man who said he'd been sitting outside when he heard shots and ran inside the gas station to seek cover, according to the report. Another man said he heard gunfire and saw a gray Dodge Charger leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
None of the people who spoke to police saw who was shooting, the report says.
No arrests were reported.
