Police investigating body found along Conway walking trail

CONWAY (KATV) — Authorities are investigating after a body was found along a walking trail in Conway late Thursday afternoon.

The Conway Police Department says they received a call just before 4:00 p.m. about a body found in the tree line along the walking trail near Reedy Road.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Nicholas West,26, dead.

There were no indications of foul play, according to officials, however, the incident is still under investigation.

West's body has been sent to the state crime lab to determine the cause of death.

Police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
