Authorities are investigating after a man was shot in the thigh in Little Rock on Tuesday.

According to a Little Rock police report, the victim, Tyler Bryant, 20, said he was picked up at Rally's on 12th Street just before 11 a.m. by two unknown subjects traveling in a blue Toyota Sedan.

Bryant told police the subjects were going to give him a ride to his grandma's house. While they were on Abigail Street, Bryant said he heard four gunshots.

Bryant stated he didn't know where the shots were coming from but said he was hit in the right thigh before he got out of the vehicle and began running.

According to the report, Bryant said he got a different ride from an unknown person to the hospital.

Hospital officials say there were no bullet holes in Bryant's jeans, but there was gun residue on his underwear. They also believe the bullet was fired from close range.

Detectives then responded to the hospital to interview Bryant, at which point he told them he only heard one shot and was driven to the hospital in his vehicle.
