Searcy police officers were called to the Searcy Walmart Supercenter at 7:20 p.m. Friday night for an aggravated robbery.

A white male approached employees in the money center, where he pulled out a knife and demanded money, according to police.

The suspect left the store before Searcy officers arrived. An officer with the Arkansas Highway Patrol was able to stop the suspect's car in the Walmart parking lot.

The suspect has been identified as Eddie Ray Myers, 69, of Searcy.

Myers is charged with aggravated robbery, a class Y felony, and theft of property, a class B felony.
