LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Sherwood police are still searching for the person or people responsible for killing a teenager last week.
Officers say they found the victim inside of a car on a walking path off of Gap Creek Rd. around 3 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the family is identifying the victim as 17-year-old Braylon Jay-Quan Stone.
The victim is known to many in the community as Brayla Stone. Police say they are investigating the incident as a homicide.
The victim was taken to the state crime lab to determine a cause of death, according to authorities.
Police have not released any suspect information. They say there is no threat to the public at this time.
