SPRINDALE (KATV) — Springdale police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in a McDonald's parking lot.

KATV content partner KFSM reports that officers were flagged down around 3 a.m. on Saturday and were told that a shooting had just taken place at the McDonald's on East Robinson Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot wounds in the parking lot. One of the men was already dead, and the other was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to Sgt. Jeff Taylor, spokesman for the Springdale Police Department, witnesses told police that the suspect or suspects fled the area in a white passenger car with several people in it.

No suspect descriptions have been released.
