Strong Saturday morning storms cause damage across Central Arkansas
Many people across Central Arkansas are waking up to damage caused by strong storms this Saturday morning.
Initial reports looked like it could have been a tornado but the National Weather Service says it was straight-line winds, not a tornado that caused the damage.
The storm stretched about 70 miles long starting about 5 o'clock this morning and lasted less than an hour, but caused homes to be moved off foundations and trees to be knocked down.
Entergy Arkansas reports about 4,000 subscribers are still without power this morning.
KATV will have more damage reports throughout the day. If you see damage and can safely send us pictures or video, please send them to us here.
