A Monticello substitute teacher is facing sexual assault charges for allegedly having relations with an 18-year-old student.

According to Monticello Live, Kristi Meek was subbing at Monticello School District's alternate learning education facility.

The incidents reportedly took place at an event unrelated to school activities.
